Open/Close All Discussions

Is there a way of closing all discussions in a Canvas Course and then opening them all at a later date?

The goal behind this is to minimise cyber bullying and to monitor the discussions. My desire is to open all discussions in the early morning (6am) and then close them all in the afternoon (4pm). 

I have over 30 discussions in the one course that I monitor. That I currently am opening and closing individually.

If these are graded Discussions, then you can edit all of them at once by clicking on Assignments. Then click on the 3 dots and then "Edit Assignment Dates." You'll be able to fairly easily change a lot of dates (and times).

Its a great idea. They are not currently assignments. This course isn't used for any marking. Only to help create opportunities to connect. I will look into your idea as a possible solution to my request for an open / close all button.
