Option to not include 0's in average grade analytics

I feel like it would be extremely beneficial to both the students and instructors to include the option to negate 0's when looking at the average scores. I feel like this gives a much more relevant score to see where everyone is performing, rather than allowing the students who failed to submit anything weigh the entire average down, rendering the statistic redundant. I also believe that it would be beneficial to include Q1 and Q3 quartiles, upon the professor's approval.

Hi there, @Eugenek ...

If you feel there could be improvements to the way certain parts of Canvas function, you can submit those as feature requests that will get evaluated sometime in the future.  There is a separate ideas space here in the Community where you can submit your suggestions.  However, right now the entire idea process is undergoing some changes, and I'm not exactly sure when the new process will be in place.  You can read more about it at: Turning Your Feedback into Better Prioritization and Release Processes: Our Path Forward.

With that being said, there are a handful of Guides that walk you through the process for creating ideas here in the Community:

And finally, I noticed that you currently have a rank of "Community Novice".  In order to prevent things like spambots, you'll need to do a few extra simple things to "rank up" here in the Community before you can submit your idea(s).  (This is similar to leveling up in video/board games.)  Check out these two Guides:

I hope all these links will be of some help to you.  Sing out if you have any questions.  Thanks!
