Not sure if this is the right place for post (online orientation is a little confusing). I'm Betty, starting in English Studies (possibly health comms?), live in Northeast Ohio and doing all-online degree. Have two dogs.

Hi Betty, welcome to Canvas!  I imagine if you are a student that you should log into your school's Canvas account rather than this global Canvas community to make your orientation post.  Your school's Canvas will have .instructure.com in the website URL, and will show the class you are taking if it's started. 

This Canvas community is a great resource with Canvas student guides and this forum where Canvas users help each other with questions.
