I'm not sure if you are an instructor or a student, but I'll give you a couple links that might help:

• For Students:
  • How do I view my Canvas groups as a student? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
  • Once in your group, then you can go to the "Discussions" group button on the left side of your screen...or create a new topic by following the steps in this Guide: How do I create a discussion in a group? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)

I am  student  of  milpark

For specific questions about how to submit something to your instructor, it is best that you contact your instructor directly.  This site (the Canvas Community) is not your course, and I wouldn't want to give you any inaccurate information as it pertains to your assignment you are being asked to submit.  Generally speaking, if you are being asked to submit something to your instructor as an assignment in Canvas, you can follow these video Guides:

But again, I recommend reaching out to your instructor directly via Canvas...which you can do by following the steps in this Guide:
