Password Restrictions

I think my students are using passwords that are not acceptable and therefore it will not allow them to log back into the system.   Are there any restrictions so I can tell students what symbols, letters, numbers to avoid?  Can you send a list, examples or criteria of acceptable passwords?

Hello @PaulineWylie  - my experience is that password rules (characters, length, etc.) are defined by each institution. So I suggest checking with your Information Technology support group.
