Password help

Hello, I am a high school teacher using Canvas Free for Teachers. My students create accounts with their school gmail & use the same password, however, Canvas will repeatedly log them out and they are not able to get into their Canvas accounts. When requesting "forgot passwords", they never receive any email to reset the password. We've even tried to log in only using the google icon. I just can't seem to help them. Free for Teachers only lets me view their user name and I cannot get them back into their accounts.

I have heard that sometimes the password reset option comes if you click the link twice. It's not ideal, but there's something about that action that works. If it still doesn't work, please email community@instructure.com and our team will do what we can to get those students into their coursework.

Hi @KristinL I've had the same issue with my own account & students'. I can get students enrolled, but then they try to get back to the course and it's a nightmare (wrong password etc., but it's not the wrong password). The only work around I've found is going to the Free For Teacher url directly, instead of trying to login on any other Canvas app/site/login. When I go there, I can sign back in. I often lose students from frustration before we get started. Hoping you can help.
