(This does NOT relate to Discussions.) I have a hard time getting students to view my feedback on assignments, and sometimes it's really crucial that they do. I'd like to find a way to give them points for viewing my comments. I have no idea if there's a way to do that...any suggestions? Alternatively, is there a way for me to tell if the student has looked at my feedback, so I can bug them if they haven't done it?

Hi @jmerriam -
Currently, there is no way to automatically assign points to the action of viewing feedback. (Though, if you have the capacity, you could add an assignment for this task and mark it complete/incomplete if the student adds a comment or answers a question in line with your comments in SpeedGrader.) However, there is a helpful little timestamp in SpeedGrader that shares if/when they viewed the annotations on a file. While that's not a complete solution, it's a starting point.
