Problem with Syllabus tool and html content added in

We are troubleshooting an issue where a faculty member has added a significant amount of content in the "Syllabus Description" field and when the page renders sometimes it renders with the automated "Course Summary" and other times the Course Summary is blank and a couple refreshes later it returns.

Has anyone else ran into a similar issue or know if there are word limits to description fields in Canvas?  The RCE reports its 32K words.

HI all,

I thought I would share that we found the issue to be that the instructor had copy and pasted the Canvas Help menu and it included additional span tag code form the Canvas Help code in their syllabus page and broke the page display.
