Published Discussion topics have vanished from student view.

My class is using Canvas Discussion to do a digital penpal exchange with a Japanese classroom. We have not had a problem until last Friday. Suddenly, when my students logged in to Canvas, they couldn't see any of the Discussion topics! I double-checked, and... As long as I'm logged in as a teacher, I can see all of the topics, and they are all still Published. But when I switch to student view, the topics are gone! I've attached screenshots of both situations.
I have no idea how to fix this problem. As far as I can tell, there's no setting that would prevent students from viewing a published topic. Please help!

Hi @ekamenetzky, I can see in your first screen shot that you did not publish the module that contains the discussions. Go to Modules and click the publish icon to the right of the module title. Students cannot see content in unpublished modules.
