Does anyone know of a way to include a financial calculator (like excel spreadsheet) to a quiz using Proctorio with the browser locked?
The standard answer would be to embed a file for them to download BUT this is a closed note exam. As soon as you download a file you are out of the 'lock-down' function.
Can I embed a functioning excel spreadsheet INSIDE the quiz wihout requiring a file download?
Canvas surely has run finance exams, does anyone have experience here?
Unfortunately, I do not believe that is possible. I do not know of any way to do it. As you state the issue is with the lockdown browser feature. As much as I like the lockdown browser idea, for what I teach it is just not feasible to easily use it - especially with a monitoring feature.
Maybe someone else knows of a way to do it, but I have not seen anything related to what you want.
