Colleagues,
If I remove a student from a course (say for non-payment), then they pay and the SIS reloads them. Are all their assignments, discussions, etc. restored?

Hi @rgibson1,
In every case I have encountered, the answer is yes. I hesitate to say that is as an absolute because there may be some unknown period of time after which Canvas removes stuff from the database for deleted enrollments. I can pretty assuredly say for a time period of at least 4 months everything seems to come back if a student is re-enrolled.

Hey all,
I recently was interested in this topic and asked Instructure to verify some points about time limit. Support told me that the info about assignments/grades/discussions reappearing is true, that all content submitted by the student will reappear after re-enrollment, and there is no associated time limit (that is, the student doesn't have to re-enroll within N days in order for the content to reappear).
Thought I'd add that info onto this thread in case anyone else is looking for it. Happy New Year!
