Rich content editor updated features

Hello Canvas community,

I was going through the release notes about the new rich content editor coming up. I see in the release notes that there's a production delay for the rich content editor but available on beta instances. Unfortunately, I am unable to see the new rich content editor in our beta instance at my institution, is the beta instance availability delayed too?

Hi  @leonardo_mancil  - Check with your local Canvas administrator. It must be enabled by them first.  Details are here:  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-17764-canvas-release-new-rich-content-editor .  At our own institution, for example, we've set it to "Allow" so that instructors can enable it on a course-by-course basis.  In fact, you may want to check in a course site under Settings and then the Feature Options tab to see if you see something called RCE Enhancements.

Hi Leonardo,

The new #rich content eidtor‌ is a #feature option‌ that a Canvas Admin at your school must turn on in #beta‌ before you will be able to see it within a course.
