Rubrics not automatically attached to assignment

Why aren't the assignment rubrics automatically attached? The rubrics are in the course content. Why do teachers have to spend a lot of time to create the rubrics from the downloaded rubrics in the course content? I find this very unfriendly and a waste of teachers' precious time which is needed for grading, etc!! And don't tell me that it's because we can add our own. We could edit them if they were already there. This needs upgrading. Flexpoint ELA V27

The rubrics shouldn't have to be recreated, although maybe I am misunderstanding the issue. You can attach already created rubrics by clicking on the + rubric button and then choosing "Find a Rubric." Please see the community guide here for help and visual directions. I hope this resolves your issue!
