You have asked your question in a global community of Canvas users who will most likely not know anything about specific activities at your school. A little searching based on your email address helped me find the University of Missouri's web page and a bit of searching there found me a link to the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies (SISLT). That web page had no information about an orientation, but there is a contact button at the top, so you should be able to get help from there.
