Scheduled announcements show the creation and edit dates/times

I noticed today in student view that my scheduled announcements all show the dates and times that I created them and edited them instead of showing the date and time the announcements went live for the students like they used to. Is that simply how my instructor's "student view" is showing me, or will students actually see the date and time I created/edited the announcements?

Some good news for you!  I believe this issue was just fixed a couple weeks ago.  Please see the  Canvas Deploy Notes (2024-10-23) - Instructure Community - 618621  page for details about the change/fix.

This is still not resolved; students are still seeing the Created date and edited dates in my courses. I would post an image, but I do not have permission.
