Sections in the course

We had a course had 6 different groups with different tutors. Is it possible to limit student access to all materials. As different materials in different groups, we want student to check their own section materials.

You mixed groups and sections in your question.  It sounds to me like you want students broken up into 6 units (sections or groups) and then have the students in unit 1 only access material assigned to that unit.  In that case you can create your own sections in a course and populate those sections with the students you want in that section.  Then for assignments, you just select the section or sections to receive it.  The other sections do not see the assignment..

Iyou can add multiple students to a section by clicking on the +people option and then providing all of the ids(email address, login id or sis id) you want to use and add them to the particular section.  The students will have to accept that request to be put into the section
