Hello,
I have a question regarding self-paced courses. My organization is using Canvas a little differently than a traditional college would. We are leaving self-paced courses open without an end date because we have students taking the courses at different times throughout the year. Since this is the case, when a student completes the course, it doesn't register and doesn't reflect as a "completed" course. Instead it still shows "in progress." Is there a way to set this up utilizing the modules tool or assignments tool when building out the course?
Thank you,
Reina

May I ask which or where did you get the report to show student results?
Student results are independent of a course status.
I believe "In progress" status of a course means that the course is still accessible to the student.
If you are running self-paced courses, I would recommend taking a look at "Course Pacing" feature. This feature allows you to define a pace in which students must complete course tasks (automatically or manually).
