Set Until Date same as Due Date button or toggle

I would like to request that a button or toggle be added in the Assign To area of Assignments, Quizzes, and Discussions so that if an instructor wants to set the Until Date to be the same as the Due Date, the instructor can just click the button or toggle. This would save the instructor time and ensure that the dates are the same when the instructor wants them to be the same.

Great idea, that would also have saved me quite a few copy/pastes.

It may fit as a different Idea, but Instructure is restructuring how new suggestions are submitted, so I believe you can't submit it for now.

That's effectively what we do when our local assignment automation solution provisions assignments with a deadline. Where late work is permitted, the until updates at the due time to give a further two working days. Where an assignment is not extensible (eg in class presentation or test) no late work extension is added to the until date.

On a related point, there is a known bug whereby the assignments overview fails to pick up automated changes to due or until dates - this can be resolved by editing the assignment (without changing) and saving to 'flush' the dates through.
