Setting up Sub-Accounts - 4 levels deep with SIS ID

I am trying to redesign the Sub Account structure at our organization by dividing them into Online & On Campus >> College of ??? >> Department. I am able to build this in Canvas but cannot assign SIS ID to the department sub accounts. This keeps me from assigning the courses to the proper departments. Is it possible to get the ability to assign the SIS ID in the 4th level? If so, how is this accomplished? Thanks in advance.

Howdy,

Easiest option -

1. Open the sub-account, go to settings, put SIS ID in the SIS ID field

If you don't want to do all that clicking, just use the SIS accounts file to make the sub-accounts.

That is my problem there is no settings button on the sub-account at the 4th level. In the picture I posted the sub account above (3rd level) has a settings option but not the sub-account nested in there.

The UI doesn't provide the Gear at that level, probably for space reasons.

• Right Click any 4th level (Accounting)
• Open In a New Tab
• On the left nav, bottom, Settings will be for the account
