I am a new user to Canvas and have been developing a course which will be used by multiple instructors. I need to set up different course sections for those different instructors so that they only see the student grades for that section. How do I do that?
What exactly is the set-up of this course? Are you a professor teaching a huge lecture with 200 students, and you want your five TAs to grade separate sections with one big Canvas course?
Or, are you developing a course such as English 101, which will be separately taught by five different teachers? In that case, will these five teachers be personalizing their sections with their own welcome messages and so on?
If the later is the case, I would recommend creating a "template course." You could also create a "development course" and then have the instructors import the content into their own individual Canvas courses.
Could you please explain more about your plans and how much autonomy each teacher will have?
The course will be used by multiple teachers at separate private schools owned by a parent company. I would like the teachers to have some autonomy such as being able to personalize their own sections and perhaps add to the content of the course.
