Hi all,
I'm looking into setting up the MS Teams integration and am reading MS's documentation here
Step 4 says "Enable the LTI apps you are going to deploy..." My question is, which keys do I need to deploy, I see:
Microsoft Teams meetings
Microsoft Teams classes
Microsoft Teams Meetings for Canvas (Hidden from students)
Microsoft Teams Meetings for Canvas
Does anyone know the difference for each key? Should I just enable all of them or do I only need particular ones? What have others done?
Thanks for the help!
~John

Hi, johnod120!
Do note Canvas have a blog on what this integration does:
https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Admin-Blog/Microsoft-Teams-Meetings-in-Canvas/ba-p/256340
It is described in this blog what this integration will do:
"You can determine if you want to turn on the tool for students of not. The Microsoft Teams Meetings for Canvas (Hidden from Students) key [3] will not enable the tool for students. The Microsoft Teams Meetings for Canvas key [4] will enable the tool for students."
Classes are if you want to have a class created within teams, sort of like google classroom. Docs can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/create-a-class-team-in-microsoft-teams-fae422eb-58b7-4431-...
Basically, this is completely dependent on what you want to do with this integration.
Hope this helps!

Hello @Thomas_Foster1 ,
Thanks very much for your reply. I did stumble across that blog when starting out, but I must have been scared off by the yellow banner saying it wouldn't be updated!
I see it has a good description for two of the keys listed, thanks for pointing this out.
Best,
John
