Shrinking Elementary Banner

Is there any way to shrink the banner which appears underneath elementary subjects? The banner takes up a lot of space on the Chromebook screen.

We might need some more information on this from you.

The banner that you are referring to here, is that an image you placed on your home page or something?

If so, you should be able to edit the dimension from the Rich Content Editor. HERE is a guide on how to do that. 

Are you able to show us a screenshot of the banner you are referring to here? We would love to take a look!

No, I am referring to the banner at the top of each subject area in Canvas for Elementary. Please see the provided photo.  The banner does not shrink when you scroll the page and there is no option to shrink it.

That makes total sense now that I was able to look at your screenshot. Thank you for providing that here! 

I was able to check this out in my sandbox and it looks like there is not a way to resize that banner that appears in the course, while using the elementary theme. 

This would make a great feature request for future releases in Canvas. I do see how that would be useful for teachers using the elementary theme.
