Hi,
Is there a way to have annotations not "publish" to students until I decide to release all students comments and annotations on documents all at the same time?
I work at a school where we release draft feedback at the same time. I found that students were able to view the annotations I made on their work before they were supposed to see it.

Hello @JaedenHaas
Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with hiding all comments and annotations from students while grading. This is certainly an option and there are a couple ways to do it, but I suggest changing the grade posting policy on the assignment from automatic to manual while grading. By default this hides all grades, comments, etc. When you are ready to release them - simply come back and change it back to automatic.
