Student Annotation

I am an instructor and want to use Student Annotation as the submission type.  My question is - can students copy and paste into a comment?  In other words, can they get AI to write the comment and then copy and paste it into Student Annotation assignment?

Yes, students are able to copy and paste into an annotation text box when completing an annotations assignment (I know they can do it with freetext annotations especially).
