Hi all,
I have checked the guides, but have been unable to determine the answer to this question. It sounds like sections can be/are set to be distinct from one another. Can they be set to interact with one another?
I have a professor who has two sections of the same class, and she wants the students to be able to see other students' posts, regardless of section enrollment, and interact with them.
Thanks!
My courses have multiple sections, one for each "hour" of the day. When it comes to discussions, students from one section are able to see and respond to students from other sections. The main value in sections (IMO) is the ability to assign work to a specific group of students, filter the gradebook to show specific sections, and even filter Speedgrader to only grade on section at a time.
