Students can't view annotated assignment in Marks: Assignment

Hi Community,

I am struggling a bit as one of our tutors has marked some assignments for some students, but when the student accesses the assignment through the marks page, they can't see their annotated assignment anywhere.

They can see their feedback comments from the tutor in the View Feedback area, but no assignment preview or annotations.

There are definitely annotations there for the student as well.

It may be worth noting that the assignment is using the Turnitin LTI for submissions. Attached are some images showing:

The annotations in SpeedGrader

The feedback comments that are shown. 

Has anyone else had this issue and managed to resolve it? Is this a bug or something I am missing?

My is Lynette-Yes, I occasionally do get this problem. my conclusion is maybe you have to many apps open, or you can the printer option and it show you everything.

Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately, closing apps didn't help.

The same issue is happening on the student's device, and on my device (When acting as the student as an administrator).

It seems that this is happening often now to other students across our organisation.

Unfortunately, Lynette's previous response did not solve the issue. I am still wondering if there is anything else that can be done about this.

Any additional insights would be appreciated.

Hi there! I'm not sure this information will help you, but I wanted to share it in case it does. Canvas said that annotations in LTI submissions will not be visible for students if the Assignment Enhancements feature is turned on within a course. However, we recently learned at our university that without enabling Assignment Enhancements, rubrics do not display properly for students. See the screenshot from a recent help ticket I submitted on behalf of our organization a few weeks ago. It seems related to your issue of students not being able to see annotations.
