Text Search of Course Pages

I need to find all the pages of my course that contain a specific text phrase. How do I do that?

I'm not aware of anything in the core Canvas product that allows you to do a search like this.  However, there is an 3rd party external LTI app called Atomic Search that may meet your needs.  I believe there is a cost for this product, so you'd want to talk with your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department to see if making a purchase like this would be possible...as it may be possible to install it at the Canvas account level so that all Canvas courses at your school would be able to use it...not just you.

Did you ever get a real answer for searching pages? Isn't there supposed to be a place we can suggest improvements?

There is a place to submit your own ideas here in the Canvas Community website.

Click on the blue "View and Submit Ideas" button. On the next page, click on the blue "Submit an Idea" button.
