Uploading a video clip from Studio to a Module in Canvas - how?

In the "Modules" section of a course offering in Canvas for which I am the instructor, there is a Module entitled "Meet the Instructor." This Module has a formated section where a video may be uploaded.  I would like to upload a video I created that is stored in the Studio section of Canvas, into this Module.  How may I accomplish this?   Thank you in advance.

You don't need to upload it - you can embed it using the Studio LTI tool.

My process is slightly different than what @VPundir provided.  First, I would either create or upload your video to your Canvas Studio library using one of these Guides:

NOTE: You could even create a "Collection" folder in your Studio Library if you wanted to keep your video(s) all in one spot.  See  How do I create a collection in Canvas Studio? - Instructure Community - 1688  for more information.

Then, once your video has been added to your Studio Library, you could then go to your module in your course.  If your content page hasn't yet been created, you can do that now.  When editing your content page, you can then embed your video onto the page wherever you want:

I don't have an exact answer to your question, but I do want to point out that Canvas Studio is not a "section" of Canvas LMS. It is a different program owned by the same company that integrates with the LMS. So it is an External Tool - and behaves like one. 

It sounds as though your institution may have provided a template for your course and that you are wanting to put content into that template format. You may want to visit the Canvas Studio Guide for more information about using Studio and the LMS together. The users on this site don't necessarily know how your institution's template is set up or how that "formatted section where a video may be uploaded" works, but there's a good chance that you'll be able to use the embed method recommended by @VPundir .

Hi there! 👋 @RhysLWilliams!  You can embed your Studio video directly into your Meet the Instructor module using the Rich Content Editor in Canvas.

Here’s a quick guide:

1. Open the page where you want to embed your video.

2. In the Rich Content Editor, click the Apps (plug icon) or Studio icon.

3. Choose your video from Studio.

4. Click Embed to insert it on the page.
