Using multiple question banks by question type in a classic quiz

In a classic quiz, I want the ability to have a specific number of each question type included (random questions pulled from several banks so that all question types appear in the quiz). The main reason is that I want to ensure essay questions are always a part of the quiz. Will this work if I simply create separate banks of question types (for example, a multiple-choice bank, a short-answer bank, a true-false bank, and an essay bank)? Can someone confirm that as long as I have separate banks within the quiz, I can accomplish this?

Hi @t_dygert ...
In a Classic Quiz, I think you could accomplish this by creating several separate Question Groups (not Question Banks). Create a Question Group for each question type that you want to include within the quiz. Then, have it randomly pick "x" number of questions from that Question Group to display to students. Here is a Guide on how to create a Question Group for a Classic Quiz:

Just to add that having separate Question Banks can indeed help to organize the questions, but they'd then still need to make the different Question Groups in the Quiz with each linking to a different Question Bank.
