Viewing outcome mastery scores by question

Has anyone had success in being able to view outcome mastery scores by question? For those questions with the same point value and mastery benchmark linked to the same outcome, only one score is provided in the gradebook. Is this the average score of these specific questions combined?

So for example, on a final exam, if I had 3 4-point questions linked to a particular outcome, the gradebook is only showing 1 4-point question score linked with that outcome; does anyone happen to know how Canvas rolls these 3 questions into one score for that outcome? Is this an average?

Hi @MandyDodd 

I am assuming that you are aligning and outcome to a question bank, which is going to weight the percentage of correct answers against the mastery score set during alignment to get the score for the mastery. You can find that information in the guide here for Aligning an outcome with a question bank.

If your organization has New Quizzes enabled, it's possible to align an outcome to an individual question. That might be something to look in to and contact your administrators for if you are interested.
