Hello,
We have a Blueprint course and I've just created several new assignment groups and weighted the groups.
After syncing to the associated courses - everything is correct *except* for the weighted percentages.
The assignment groups synced perfectly but the percentage that each group is worth towards the final grade does not appear on any assignment group.
So my question is - is this a glitch - OR does each associated course need to have the weighted grades set up individually - which seems impractical.
This is time sensitive so any help would be appreciated.
Thank you all!
Can you let me know what settings you used for the blueprint mother course? Maybe through a screenshot?
Kind regards
Karlijn
Hi there!
Here's an example of the weighted assignment groups in the blueprint course:
from the blueprint course
And here's form the associated course:
As you can see the associated course did not capture the weighted grades after syncing.
Is there another setting I'm supposed to adjust to make it "stick"?
Thank you!
Alycea
Sorry, I wasn't really clear on what I meant 🙂 I am looking for the blueprint settings of the Canvas Course.
You can find these in the blueprint mother course under 'settings'. I've added an image of the information I'm looking for.
Kind regards,
Karlijn
Of course - here it is.
As far as I can reproduce, this is either a glitch, or maybe this might help:
Go to the blueprint course and hit the blue blueprint button in the top right corner of the course. Settings for the blueprint course slide out on the right side of your screen. The second item on that menu is 'Sync History'. If you have made changes to the blueprint course that are not synched yet, you can find them underneath item 3 "unsynched changes".
If above is the case, and you press the Sync button below 'unsyched changes", does that help?
If not, then I am afraid we have reached the end of my knowledge on this matter 🙂
Alas - there are no unsynced changes...
I'm sorry, as stated I'm afraid I don't know what is going on (other than the fact that this might indeed be a bug).
I you create a new child course, does this new childcourse synch? That might be the last tip I have 🙂
Hop you find the solution soon, sorry I couldn't help you!
Kind regards,
Karlijn
