What is "feedback from grader" in new quizzes?

Hello, 

I am using new quizzes and for some open-ended responses, I have been leaving students comments in the "Feedback from grader" section after the question. To confirm, students *should* be able to see this, right? Many of them have shown me their Canvas pages and they cannot see these comments--which is making me wonder if it's a feature with a different purpose.

I like to give my students overall feedback, but also more specific feedback regarding each question--so having this ability to comment on specific questions is great. Am I using it incorrectly?
