What should be in the zip file when I am uploading course content by using QTI.zip option? And does Canvas supports QTI v2.2?

I have created an XML file and a manifest file too.
I am creating zip of them and then importing them on the Canvas site by using QTI.zip option from the dropdown.
But in Quizzes tab, it's not getting shown!

I created a quiz manually on the Canvas and download that.
There, the QTI version was 1.2; and the zip file I am uploading, it's having QTI v2.2
Does Canvas supports only till v1.2 OR how can I set v2.2 in the Canvas?
