When will Canvas support QTI 3.0?

According to https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-import-quizzes-from-QTI-packages/ta-p/1... Canvas currently supports QTI versions 1.2 and 2.1. IMS global that owns the QTI spec has recently released version 3.0 (https://www.imsglobal.org/question/index.html) that addresses some accessibility issues and better availability of web standards. 

 

Does Canvas have a timeline of when QTI 3.0 quizzes will be supported?
