Who is viewing modules

Is there a way to see which student has accessed a specific module? And if so, is there a way to see which files within the module have been viewed?

You can do this by setting requirements in your modules.

I looked at adding a requirement but what I really wanted to do is not limit my students in the course. The module is an information module but not needed to complete the course. For this module it would just be good to know who has opened it and looked at the contents.

I would add a Text Header with instructions. As long as you don't have any prerequisites to open additional content, it won't matter if students don't actually complete the "requirements."
