Why Does Canvas LMS Have A Panda For Every Single Tutorial?

Just wondering, is your mascot a panda? I've seen tutorials with a panda for it often.

If you go to https://www.instructure.com/about/brand-guide and then to the "DOWNLOAD BRANDING BOOK" (page 22 of 65) at the very bottom, you will see that a panda is Instructure's "Spirit Mark" or a sort of mascot.

Maybe they thought it was a nice addition to Canvas and added it.
