I can't enter letter grades.
Regrade options are wonky.
These and several other issues sit for years, but they're pretty basic.
The process of submitting something to a community vote or whatever is abysmal. I shouldn't have to run a campaign to enter a letter grade on an paper.
I find the Canvas organization unresponsive and behaving just like the monopoly it is.
Has anyone found any way to get them to fix things?
...and waiting in a chat queue for an indefinite time is infuriating...
Sorry for my delay in responding here. I have had this open for a week now, pondering the best way to respond. Truth of it all is you're correct. We as a company have dropped the ball in how we intake customer feedback and develop upon it. We've shared some of this same sentiment in We made a mistake in Ideas & Themes decisions and the follow up blog It’s Time for Your Feedback on the Future of Ideas & Themes. This doesn't fully address what you're calling out in regards to bugs, but I can promise you that is part of the overall internal conversations - we need to work closer with our customers to define the sometimes fuzzy line of an idea and a [usability] bug.
We don't have the answers yet, but we are listening and we are seeking a better experience for all of us.
