can't find contents of ASSIGNMENTS, PEOPLE, SETTINGS tabs

Hi,

I have a Free-For-Teachers teacher account. The contents of some tabs like ASSIGNMENTS, PEOPLE, SETTINGS have disappeared for four days.

I found some similar topics, tried the suggestions but in vain.

Really look forward to further assistance in this matter.

Hi Phuong,

From your description, I'd guess that your role in the course has changed from "teacher" to something else, like "student" or "observer", since those roles do not have access to the Settings area.

You can confirm what role you have in the course by looking at your full Courses list ( https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-view-all-my-Canvas-courses-as-an-instru... ) and look in the "Enrolled as" column.

If your role has changed from "teacher" to something else, you will want to contact one of the other instructors in the course, or Canvas Support.

This is a public discussion board for Canvas users from different schools all over the world, so we do not have access to your course.  Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing?  And also, have you contacted Canvas Support?

Thanks a lot for getting back to me.

I am attaching screenshots from my canvas account. The last one is the screenshot of an email from Canvas Support in which they said they cannot provide assistance with my issue due to huge volumes of enquiries.

I just checked my account. Now, I can see MODULES only, not any other TABS.

Looking to hearing further from you.

Thanks for sharing those screenshots with Community members.  I'm not sure what web browser you might be using, but have you tried using a different browser...such as an up-to-date version of either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?  Those two browsers are the ones that are generally recommended when navigating the Canvas environment.  If you are already using one of these browsers, have you tried switching to the other one to see if you are able to see the contents of your course?
