Is  there a way to listen events from Canvas ?  I am trying to integrate Canvas in an Event base architecture but I cannot find a properly way to do it

With the Canvas Data Portal you can. See Canvas Data Services : Live Events Data Streaming Service 

However, you need a AWS account for this because it uses the AWS SQS queue.
