changes entered to assignments

We have used canvas for a while. Now using assignments if anything is edited it does not stay. Percentages instead of points, change answer key if mistake was made. students and faculty are frustrated to no end. 2 courses are plagued more than others???

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.  Would you be able to provide some more details?  Maybe outline the steps you are taking for those areas of Canvas that are causing you pain points.  A screenshot or two might also be helpful (being careful not to include any student names/grades).

Is it possible that the display grade setting for the assignment has been set to percentage instead of points?

here is the instructor guide that shows how to setup that aspect of the assignment
