How do i get the analytics of an uploaded, posted fille...how many students access? how long? what time? etc.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@BIENMATAWARAN At this time, there does not seem to be a way to get analytics about who has accessed a file and for how long. This just came up for one of our faculty the other day. I think this would be a great one to submit as a Feature Idea.

Hello @BIENMATAWARAN,
Canvas does not natively have this functionality but you might find the Canvas LMS Mods (Basic) - Chrome Web Store (https://code-with-ski.github.io/Canvas-LMS_Mods-Website) Chrome extension to be helpful. It is made by @Code-with-Ski / @JamesSekcienski.
With that extension installed and enabled, if you go to the "Statistics" area of a Canvas course (please see https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-view-course-statistics/ta-p/1120 for help getting there), there is a report there called "User Access Report" that might be able to you (https://code-with-ski.github.io/Canvas-LMS_Mods-Website/features-course.html#statistics).
