I need to import a canvas course export package with the extension .imscc to my course. I received this package by Dropbox, I downloaded it to my computer, and then I want to import it to my canvas course but the import fails and I receive the following error message: Error identifying package type: Zip end of central directory signature not found.
What can I do? I need this course built urgently.
thanks!

Hi @GhadaMourad,
If you're following the instructions that @Chris_Hofer linked to and receiving that error, it seems likely that you were sent a corrupt .imscc file. In that case, I'd suggest that you contact the person that shared the file with you to see if they could fix that on their end then reshare an updated file with you.

Hi @GhadaMourad ...
To confirm, are you using the instructions found in this Guide to import your file?

Thank you for following up. That would be very helpful! the cartridge I received was only 6MB, so something went wrong when it was sent.
