Hey Everyone!
I know it's possible to import rubrics into Canvas using a CSV file, but is it possible to upload student feedback into student rubrics using a CSV? Sometimes, I grade student discussions in an Excel sheet. It would be tedious to use Speed Grader to manually add student feedback one-by-one. Sometimes, I like to grade essays in Excel as well. Is there a way to upload a file with student names/IDs, points per rubric element, and comments from Excel to Canvas rubrics? It would be a huge win not to have to use mail merge to create rubrics and distribute.
Thanks for considering!

Unfortunately, there's nothing that I'm aware of within the Canvas UI (User Interface) that would allow you to upload rubric scores/comments used as student feedback via an Excel spreadsheet. Interesting idea, though. You could certainly submit this as an Idea to see what kind of feedback you'd receive.

Click on the blue "View and Submit Ideas" button, and then click on the blue "Submit an Idea" button. Or, just go here:

Also, please review the Guides under the heading "Ideas and Themes" to see how the idea process works and how to submit an idea:

Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks, @Chris_Hofer. Done! This would be even speedier grading than the SpeedGrader.
