I do not see my modules for my class that began today, but was able to see the announcement, so I know the class started already. There are assignments coming up but I have no access to the modules/chapters.

It sounds like you are a student. There are a few reasons that you do not see modules in your course. 1) the instructor may not have posted material in any modules yet. 2) the modules navigation link may be hidden for the course(not visible to students). In any case, you should contact your instructor to find out why you cannot see any modules.
