no printable discussion instructions

The redesign of the discussion page does not allow for a printable page of the instructions and rubric. The only thing that can be printed is what is viewable on-screen due to the embedded scroll bar added last term. IT was not able to help me out and I rely on having the instructions in front of me rather than gong back and forth between screen pages. How can I print the full page of instructions to initial post, Response post and rubric? The attached photo is all that is available to print. If I scroll to get the response instructions, the rubric obstruct the initial post instructions or initial post and rubric instructions go up as I scroll and now I can only view response instructions.

Hello @KatPom ,

I recommend submitting an idea to Canvas so that they can fix this issue. I agree that overlapping of the frames does not make it easier to print. Until Canvas can fix this can you try highlighting the rubric with your cursor, right-click the highlighted text, and select Print? Then do the same thing separately with the directions.

I do believe I submitted this as an idea, after I figured out how to do that. I have tried right clicking. It still tries to print it as a screenshot. I am also working on a Mac and have learned Canvas isn't typically Mac friendly.

The Idea title is "Print Option for Discussion Redesign" under "discussions".

Agree that this should be a (already present) function for Discussion.
