"Collaborations" randomly activated on all course menus?

Did anyone else experience in the last week that Collaborations became active in all course menus (even if set to be not active).

I've gone through page views of admins and no one has touched any settings to make that happen. It may have been timed with the update on Oct 15th or the Deploy update on Oct 26th. It's not present in Beta or Test.

I'm looking to see if others saw something similar before pinging support/CSM team.
