"Publish Later" but for assignments, not just pages

I just wanted to recommend adding the "publish at" (a later time) option for assignments like there is for pages. It get so cluttered in the canvas modules with the assignments visible but "not unlocked" and even if you lock the module, once the module is unlocked all the assignments are still visible all at once, even if the students can't open them.   

Is there a way to request this feature? Since it is already available for pages, I can't imagine it would be hard to code into the assignments.
