Hello there, @JillKirby ...
Try going to your "Courses" >> "All Courses" screen within Canvas. You should see that course listed on the screen, and there would be a yellow star next to it (you may have marked it as a "favorite"). Click on the yellow star, and it that should remove the course from your Canvas Dashboard. You'll still be enrolled in the course, though.
