rename files is missing

my canvas free for teachers no longer provides a file rename feature.

thoughts?

Hi, @ken_erickson , I checked a few of your courses and also "acted as" you; I was able to see a Rename option in the menu for the file. The options look like this (I blanked out the file names for privacy):

This is one of your older courses, but I wasn't able to reproduce what you describe in the new courses either. 

I'm using the latest version of Chrome on a Macbook Pro, so try a different device/browser/cache clear to see if the problem resolves.

I solved this just now. When I see a file as a result of a SEARCH I cannot rename. But when I see a file in the folder, not as the result of a search, I have all the options.

After a search, all I see is "Download" and "share to commons".  While building out a new course, I search through my (too crowded and yes I will tidy it up!) files of articles for this graduate class.
