test settings problem

I am a teacher and have set a final exam up for students to have 2 attempts.  After they take 1 attempt and try the second, the screen shows 1 of 2 attempts taken, but also prints the following message:    You have already taken this quiz and will not be able to retake it.

Hello! @TerryDarcy 

When you originally created the quiz, was it set up and Saved for just one attempt? You should be able to unlock the next attempt in Moderate This Quiz.

will walk you through how to update those for Classic Quizzes. You may also want to contact Support so they can look into this specific quiz closer.

Hi Steph.  thanks for the suggestion.  But, it does not work.  I have classes in canvas from Pointful education, and the moderate quiz button does not show up.  The quizzes and final exam were originally set up with 2 attempts, but students can only take it once  My guess is it is a Pointful education issue, and not canvas.
